brace yourselves, houstonians – this coming wednesday at houston’s house of blues, the shins will be winding down their tour in support of their latest album port of morrow, which brought us instant-shins classics “simple song” and “it’s only life.” catch up with band and watch a live performance of “the rifle’s spiral” from last week’s conan.

joining them, are the brooklyn boys of white rabbits, best known for their rackety 2009 single “percussion gun.” the band have just released their third album, the fantastic milk famous earlier this march, and gave us clips for singles “temporary” and “i’m not me.” check out their dual-drummer letterman performance of the latter single for a taste of their frantic live show.
